A historic bridge crafted out of beams of iron marks the entrance to Savage Mill Trail which is less than two miles from your doorstep. It's known as Bollman Bridge, one of the few remaining clues that the B&O Railroad ran through town in the 1800s. Today, it serves as a pedestrian bridge and part of the Savage Mill Trail.

The trail isn't actually one path, but several. If you're looking for an easy, leisurely stroll, choose the yellow trail. It's about 1.6 miles and a relatively flat path, offering great views of the river. While the red and brown trails are a little steeper and more challenging, they're also shorter, so they're perfect for an avid hiker's quick workout. These trails also offer breathtaking views of the surrounding wildlife and the rushing river below.
